Travel Unity is inviting college students to join us for our 2022 Southeast Youth Summit.
There is no cost for students to participate.
Lodging, transportation, activities, and food for the Summit are all covered through grant funding.
2022 tracks include:
- Hospitality/Lodging
- Learn the ins and outs of the various roles it takes to run different types of lodging properties
- Culinary
- Meet both back-of-house and front-of-house professionals from restaurants in Brookhaven
- Government/Public Policy
- Hear how municipal government can work to make communities more welcoming to individuals of all backgrounds and abilities
- Tour Operation
- Experience what it takes to run a day tour in the Atlanta metro area
Participants in Travel Unity’s Youth Summits:
- learn about career paths in the travel industry
- get exposure to concepts around diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)
- meet fellow participants from different backgrounds and schools
- deeper experiences of the local/regional area
