Travel Unity organizes its own events and engages at the events of others.

Here are some of the types of events organized by Travel Unity:

Community Masterclasses

Patterned off of the Certified Diversity Travel Professional (CDTP) program, participants learn about applied DEI from the very beginning, starting with empathy vs. sympathy, and go through a program that covers terminology, identity & bias, Travel Unity’s DEI Standards for Travel & Tourism, and many other concepts in a program that involves talks from TU experts, small group dialogues, and time for Q&A.

Masterclasses are frequently utilized as a subset of a broader Services arrangement with Travel Unity.

Travel Unity Forums

Travel Unity Forums are for communities that are ready to have discussions around the intersection of tourism, economic development, and DEI.

Forums allow for both the community-specific focus of Services/masterclasses and the range of voices that are found in a Regional Summit.

Regional Summits

Travel Unity organizes regional events that bring travel industry professionals and civic-minded individuals together around topics related to making communities more welcoming to people of all backgrounds and abilities.

Youth Summits

Youth Summits can be a part of Regional Summits, other organizations’ events, or standalone events.

They bring together college students (and select high school students) to learn about travel industry opportunities, applied DEI, and spend time together with students who are engaged in different studies and come from different places.
